It is correct. We are talking about both kinds of kids. And saying that not having greencard affects the quality of life for the family.

Sent in concurrent filing 1-140 & I-1485 on June 1st .
RD June 4th
ND June 5th
All checks cashed including PP for I-140 ON 2nd June 2007.
I have a couple of questions:-
How long before i get a answer on Premium Processing on I-140.
How long for Finger Printing notice.
How long before i get EAD.
Can i renew my CA drivers license with I-1485 filing receipt or do i have to wait for EAD.
Thanks folks and hang in there.( It took 6 years for LC approval).

If you think it is that ridiculuous, then you should tell the core members that. They did ask us to call him on the last day of LD. There is nothing wrong in writing to him. In fact, you are making a comparison that is not correct.
Actually, it was an exceptional situation. As you are well aware of, we had to get an unanimous consent if the skil bill were to pass in the LD, so, we needed to have Session's approval. To deflect the situation, he just said that his office hadnt received any positive comments.. When we ended up jamming his phones and gave all the positive comments, what came out of that, nuthing.. he did not budge from his stance.. It was just a ploy and even if the entire US of A had called him, he would not have changed his stance.. He had to score brownie points from his supporters. He knows that the Skil bill will be passed next year, and may be some form of CIR even.. He can then blame it on the democrats and stand for re-election in 2009 with complete support from his supporters..
Its all a gimmick for votes. This is politics, same thing in every country, just more sophisticated here...

I am trying to switch employer. The job title and job description is similar what written in my I140. At least 75% job duties are included in new job duties. But none of new employers where I found employment ready to write job duties. What is the other way to show that I am doing similar job duties. Should I keep scree shot of JOB add? Any idea.
Also my current EAD will expire in Aug,2011 I have to file extension in April. Employer asks if extension is denied... How to explain new employers.
If job title is exactly same as written in I140/labour does it still require to show job duties written by employer to USICS.

Guys, Please don't fight.
We cannot get far with this EB2 Vs EB3 fight.
We understand EB3's situation, however pitting one against another will not help.
Sanhari: why not take your efforts one step ahead and work for fixes like visa recapture. That would be permanent solution and doesnot favor any particular group. You will be able to get support of EB2 and EB1 folks.
I know IV core is focusing its efforts on CIR. CIR is dead meat or going to be... considering this, is IV core working on any piecemeal reforms? Can somebody from the IV core comment????

EB3 I issue being debated now is something we wish we could have but has not much logical ground,in my understanding. July issue is to do with flip flop of USCIS. IV didn't protest to make all current. Just made them not retract what USCIS/DOS said a month back.
2 year EAD is also for the whole community including future filers.
Clarify one thing for me. How this new rule that is helping EB2-I is impacting EB3-I. Based on what I understand, EB3 World is directly impacted by this change. Can you help me understand how EB3 -I is impacted?
Under the latest interpretation, EB3-I India will not get benefit until EB3-ROW gets benefit. So EB3-ROW benefiting will eventually benefit Eb3-I. That is the logical background.
The other two issues , which provided temporary relief, would have been redundant If we had recaptured the visas. Most of us, across the EB category/Country, would have been current or near current , rendering these issues redundant.
IV still went ahead with it (I am glad) knowing fully well recapture is difficult issue.
So no harm in EB3-I seeking temporary relief while still joining forces on the recapture issue.

Where the hell all these guys when EB3 is getting 80K to 100K of total 140K visas all these years and EB2 is getting just merely 10%-15%. Nobody from EB2 didn't felt jealous like this before. It is hard to digest for them now.

When there is no movement ,this will be the reaction for the EB3 I people.
When you are eager for yr Gc ,the same rule applies for everone.
There is a big block EB3 row in between -so dont say all the visas were taken by Eb3 I only.

These frustrations are not jealousy...Eb3 I is suffering and waiting for a solution.

Do we need to include a cover letter ?
Also I am sending the following documents.
1) copy I-485 receipt notice
2) copy of EAD (front and back)
3) two color photos
4) Filing fee check $340
5) Mailer stub received from previous EAD.
Am I missing anything else?

I got an email today from USCIS stating this
Current Status: Card production ordered.
I did not receive any other approval notice. I hope this means that our 485 is approved and the cards have been ordered ?

Did you noticed any LUD before check cashing as you got receipt from california. I filed on July 20 and no news yet.

I just want to share some goods news from side.
All my checks got cashed today. I applied on July 23rd at NSC and got the receipt #'s from WAC.
I hope who ever is waiting for RN's they will get soon.
