BTW, for that poster who was imagining a single line, open your eyes buddy. There are indeed two lines. Higher qualifications gets you into the shorter one. You can fret and whine all you want but you cant change the fact.
Porting PDs is a silly concept as others have pointed it out here. Its the law for now but wont be for long. Get over it.

SRC is always Texas , LIN is Nebraska. Also when you input the receipt number in USCIS case status website it tells you which center this application is with.
I understand that. What I wanted to know was what number you have? SRC or LIN? And also to confirm, if it was cashed by TSC? and not the case that it was cashed by NSC and then scheduled to be transfer to TSC?

My analysis is minimally, if at all, dependent on India, China, ROW, ...
Offcourse I don't know all laws. I will believe DOS/USCIS URLs that explain how VB dates are set.
In general, it will be very useful to finds URLs that explain VB date setting and identify USCIS inconsistencies which they call LAW.

I just wanted to disagree the with title of the thread.. All EB3 is "U" why only call to action for EB3-I.. Please dont limit your view of the world(in this case IV)...Work for the betterment of all in EB3 and EB2 and all EB categories....

Please read the Ombudsmans 2007 report pgs 17-21. These are not real processing times.
BTW, I can't believe there are *still* people on this forum who haven't read this report -- it spells out absolutely everything that is going on/wrong with all our greencards, and you can't be bothered to read it?? :cool:

It is not his lunch. We should not see all this as a zero sum game. We all ought to learn not to get dragged into meaningless Eb2 v/s Eb3 fight. It doesn't help anyone. Some of us in IV core had the opportunity to see this situation very closely and witness how it plays out in Washington. No matter who says/starts Eb2 v/s Eb3 fight, you will not get any different response from IV.
Our position and work on this situation is very clear. We are all in this together and we should all help each other out instead of pulling each other down. This is the only way to fix the problem.

I think, this argument is wrong! Legally, any descrimination based on national origin is not valid.
Even if congress passes a law, it can be challenged in court - and court can declare the law as unconstitutional based on the basic rights allowed in the constitution. If we can prove that a law is against the constitution, court can declare it as invalid.

Wait for labor (go through labor pain..:-) ), do not get/expect promotion, Oh ya get your well educated spouse, Make them sit at home, make them feel unproductive, pay all your taxes, pay your social security BUT do not expect anything back, In the process if your kids age out separate them from you (send them back), If you wish to study pay highest fees, if you get promoted stand in queue again, pay frequent medical fees, AP, EAD fees, and yes YOU can always TRACK RNs for them. You can whine, post your opinions, when we change policies on the fly and create more hardships even if you have stayed here for more than 6 years, you can call up our customer service, be imaginative and get to level 2 and still get yelled at, asked to wait for 90 days (std reply), etc, but you can always go to good forum like IV and instead of working on your cause, create confusion, DEMAND action, not contribute....etc.

Spouse can stay in the country as far as her/his 485 has been applied before EB primary got a GC and after EB primary PD was current.
It WILL matter if while filing 485 EB & EB dependents have to use EB PD & FB PD respectively because then it could happen that EB primary got GC but EB dependent was never able to file 485.
In most cases it WON'T matter if while filing 485 EB & EB dependents can both use EB PD.
So if EB Dependents can use FB Quota but EB PD that would be really good for us. Off course clarification from attorney is always a good idea.
Our intention is to findout if CIS interpretation is correct. If spouse can stay in the country with EAD and AP and if Primary gets GC first. It won't matter much becos, that EAD will not have any strings attached on same or similar etc. So we should be OK.

But as suggested by IV members, please do consider a visit to india and take second opinion from the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, its one of the best cancer treament centre in the world.
US Healthcare system is for Profit, some medical facilities in US are exception, but if you see the overall Healthcare system it sucks and its all driven by insurance and big Pharmaceutical companies.
Please send me the private e-mail if you need any help in Mumbai to reach good doctor in Tata Memorial Hospital.
